Open VMware Tools for virtual machines hosted on VMware (CLI)

The Open Virtual Machine Tools (open-vm-tools) project is an open source implementation of VMware Tools. It is a suite of virtualization utilities and drivers to improve the functionality, user experience and administration of VMware virtual machines. This package contains only the core user-space programs and libraries.

Install the latest version of vmware-vgauth-cmd in Debian, Ubuntu, Alpine, Arch, Kali, CentOS and Fedora from terminal. To install the vmware-vgauth-cmd just copy the above command for your OS and run into terminal. After you run the command it will grab the latest version of vmware-vgauth-cmd from the respository and install it in your computer/server.
