TIFF manipulation and conversion toolslibtiff is a library providing support for the Tag Image File Format (TIFF), a widely used format for storing image data. The libtiff package contains a library of functions formanipulating TIFF (Tagged Image File Format) image format files. TIFF is a widely used file format for bitmapped images. TIFF files usually end in the .tif extension and they are often quite large. The libtiff package should be installed if you need to manipulate TIFF format image files.
Installing tiffcmp command is simple. just copy one of the above commands for your operating system and paste it into terminal. This command is available for Debian, Ubuntu, Arch, Kali, CentOS, Fedora, Raspbian and macOS operating systems. Once you run the command it will install the latest version of tiffcmp 2026 package in your OS.
