Subread aligner can be used to align both gDNA-seq and RNA-seq reads. Subjunc aligner was specified designed for the detection of exon-exon junction. For the mapping of RNA-seq reads, Subread performs local alignments and Subjunc performs global alignments.

Install the latest version of subread-align in Debian, Ubuntu, Kali and Raspbian from terminal. To install the subread-align just copy the above command for your OS and run into terminal. After you run the command it will grab the latest version of subread-align from the respository and install it in your computer/server.
