This package provides a free-software replacement for the Windows-software distributed by the manufacturer that allows querying an OptiCAL via a serial connection. pyoptical can be used as a library for third-party applications or as a standalone command line tool.

Install the latest version of pyoptical in Debian, Ubuntu, Kali, Fedora and Raspbian from terminal. To install the pyoptical just copy the above command for your OS and run into terminal. After you run the command it will grab the latest version of pyoptical from the respository and install it in your computer/server.
