An nsswitch module which uses directory serversnslcd
daemon for NSS and PAM lookups using LDAPThis package provides a daemon for retrieving user accounts and similar system information from LDAP. It is used by the libnss-ldapd and libpam-ldapd packages but is not very useful by itself.
Install the latest version of nslcd in Debian, Ubuntu, Alpine, Arch, Kali, CentOS, Fedora and Raspbian from terminal. To install the nslcd just copy the above command for your OS and run into terminal. After you run the command it will grab the latest version of nslcd from the respository and install it in your computer/server.
