OpenStreetMap data to PostgreSQL converter

Convert OSM planet snapshot data to SQL suitable for loading into a PostgreSQL database with PostGIS geospatial extensions. This database may then be used to render maps with Mapnik or for other geospatial analysis.

Installation of latest nodecachefilereader command is available for Debian, Ubuntu, Kali, Fedora, Raspbian and macOS. You can copy the command for your OS from above and paste it into your terminal. Once you run the command it will download the 2024 latest package from the repository and install it in your computer/server.
