mythtv-status

Show the status of a MythTV backend

Shows the current status of a local or remote MythTV backend and up to the next 10 recordings for today and tomorrow. Also provides functionality for updating the MOTD with this information, this can provide a good heads up on when you should avoid heavy CPU or I/O work on your MythTV backend.

Installing mythtv_recording_soon command is simple. just copy one of the above commands for your operating system and paste it into terminal. This command is available for Debian, Ubuntu, Kali and Raspbian operating systems. Once you run the command it will install the latest version of mythtv_recording_soon 2026 package in your OS.
