user and group account administration library - utilitiesThe libuser library implements a standardized interface for manipulating and administering user and group accounts. The library uses pluggable back-ends to interface to its data sources. Sample applications modeled after those included with the shadow password suite are included: lchsh, lchfn, lid, lnewusers, lgroupadd, luseradd, lgroupdel, luserdel, lusermod, lgroupmod, lchage and lpasswd.
Installation of latest lpasswd command is available for Debian, Ubuntu, Kali, CentOS, Fedora and Raspbian. You can copy the command for your OS from above and paste it into your terminal. Once you run the command it will download the 2026 latest package from the repository and install it in your computer/server.
