An input server for X11 applications that want Japanese text input

Kinput2 is an input server for X11 applications that want Japanese text input. A client that wants kana-kanji conversion service for Japanese text sends a request to kinput2. Kinput2 receives the request, does kana-kanji conversion, and sends the converted text back to the client. This package supports both Canna cannaserver and Wnn jserver (version 4 or 6).

Installing kinput2-canna-wnn command is simple. just copy one of the above commands for your operating system and paste it into terminal. This command is available for Debian, Ubuntu, Kali and Raspbian operating systems. Once you run the command it will install the latest version of kinput2-canna-wnn 2026 package in your OS.
