Yasm is a complete rewrite of the NASM assembler. It supports multiple assembler syntaxes (eg, NASM, GAS, TASM, etc.) in addition to multiple output object formats (binary objects, COFF, Win32, ELF32, ELF64) and even multiple instruction sets (including AMD64). It also has an optimiser module.

Installing ytasm command is simple. just copy one of the above commands for your operating system and paste it into terminal. This command is available for Debian, Ubuntu, Alpine, Arch, Kali, Fedora, Raspbian and macOS operating systems. Once you run the command it will install the latest version of ytasm 2026 package in your OS.
