The LCG Disk Pool Manager (DPM) creates a storage element from a set of disks. It provides several interfaces for storing and retrieving data such as RFIO and SRM version 1, version 2 and version 2.2. This package provides a DPM SRM server that uses MySQL as its database backend.

Installing srmv1 command is simple. just copy one of the above commands for your operating system and paste it into terminal. This command is available for Debian, Ubuntu, Kali, Fedora and Raspbian operating systems. Once you run the command it will install the latest version of srmv1 2026 package in your OS.
