Library for the Raspberry which allows control of the General Purpose Input Outputs (GPIO). pigpio is written in C but may be used by other languages. In particular the pigpio daemon offers a socket and pipe interface to the underlying library.

Installing pigpiod command is simple. just copy one of the above commands for your operating system and paste it into terminal. This command is available for Raspbian operating systems. Once you run the command it will install the latest version of pigpiod 2024 package in your OS.
