This package provides ngIRCd, a lightweight Internet Relay Chat server for small or private networks. It is simple to configure, can cope with dynamic IP addresses, and supports IPv6 as well as SSL. It is written from scratch, not based on the original IRCd and quite portable.

Installing ngircd command is simple. just copy one of the above commands for your operating system and paste it into terminal. This command is available for Debian, Ubuntu, Alpine, Arch, Kali, Fedora, Raspbian and macOS operating systems. Once you run the command it will install the latest version of ngircd 2026 package in your OS.
