The ECMWF GRIB API is an application program interface accessible from C and FORTRAN programs developed for encoding and decoding WMO FM-92 GRIB edition 1 and edition 2 messages. This is a useful set of command line tools to give quick access to grib messages. ECMWF is the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts.

Install the latest version of grib_packing in Debian, Ubuntu, Kali, Fedora and Raspbian from terminal. To install the grib_packing just copy the above command for your OS and run into terminal. After you run the command it will grab the latest version of grib_packing from the respository and install it in your computer/server.
