Elfutils is a collection of utilities, including eu-ld (a linker), eu-nm (for listing symbols from object files), eu-size (for listing the section sizes of an object or archive file), eu-strip (for discarding symbols), eu-readelf (to see the raw ELF file structures), and eu-elflint (to check for well-formed ELF files).

Installing eu-strings command is simple. just copy one of the above commands for your operating system and paste it into terminal. This command is available for Debian, Ubuntu, Alpine, Arch, Kali, CentOS, Fedora and Raspbian operating systems. Once you run the command it will install the latest version of eu-strings 2026 package in your OS.
