tools for manipulating Pacific Biosciences HDF5 files

This package provides functionality for manipulating and extracting data from cmp.h5 and bas.h5 files produced by the Pacific Biosciences sequencers. cmp.h5 files contain alignment information while bas.h5 files contain base-call information. This package is part of the SMRTAnalysis suite.

Installation of latest bash5tools.py command is available for Debian, Ubuntu, Kali and Raspbian. You can copy the command for your OS from above and paste it into your terminal. Once you run the command it will download the 2026 latest package from the repository and install it in your computer/server.
