script for maintaining backwards compatibility of Tango Project

Tango is a project to create a new cross-desktop and cross-platform icon theme, using a standard style guide, and the new Icon Naming Specification. This package contains the perl script for maintaining backwards compatibility.

Installing icon-name-mapping command is simple. just copy one of the above commands for your operating system and paste it into terminal. This command is available for Debian, Ubuntu, Alpine, Arch, Kali, CentOS, Fedora, Raspbian and macOS operating systems. Once you run the command it will install the latest version of icon-name-mapping 2026 package in your OS.
