Braille input engine for IBus

Ibus-sharada-braille allows one to use the PC keyboard to type text in graphical desktops in a Perkins-like way, i.e. braille patterns. It supports several braille tables (english, french, indian, spanish), contracted braille and abbreviations. It comes with table editors.

Installing ibus-sharada-braille command is simple. just copy one of the above commands for your operating system and paste it into terminal. This command is available for Debian, Ubuntu and Raspbian operating systems. Once you run the command it will install the latest version of ibus-sharada-braille 2026 package in your OS.
