Tools to ease use of hugetlbfs

libhugetlbfs is a library which provides easy access to huge pages of memory. It is a wrapper for the hugetlbfs file system. Applications can use huge pages to fulfill malloc() requests without being recompiled by using LD_PRELOAD. The package provies several userspace tools to help with huge page usability, environment setup, and control.

Installing hugectl command is simple. just copy one of the above commands for your operating system and paste it into terminal. This command is available for Debian, Ubuntu, Kali, CentOS and Fedora operating systems. Once you run the command it will install the latest version of hugectl 2024 package in your OS.
