daemon for monitoring and adaptive tuning of system devicesThe tuned package contains a daemon that tunes system settings dynamically. It does so by monitoring the usage of several system components periodically. Based on that information components will then be put into lower or higher power saving modes to adapt to the current usage. Currently only ethernet network and ATA harddisk devices are implemented.
Install the latest version of tuned-adm in Debian, Ubuntu, Kali, CentOS and Fedora from terminal. To install the tuned-adm just copy the above command for your OS and run into terminal. After you run the command it will grab the latest version of tuned-adm from the respository and install it in your computer/server.
