From your fax application view point it's a fax modem pool. From IP network view point it's a H.323 endpoint with T.38 fax support. From your view point it's a gateway between a fax application and IP network.

Install the latest version of t38modem in Debian, Ubuntu and Raspbian from terminal. To install the t38modem just copy the above command for your OS and run into terminal. After you run the command it will grab the latest version of t38modem from the respository and install it in your computer/server.
