LVM2 includes all of the support for handling read/writeoperations on physical volumes (hard disks, RAID-Systems, magneto optical, etc., multiple devices (MD), see mdadm(8) or even loop devices, see losetup(8)), creating volume groups (kind of virtual disks) from one or more physical volumes and creating one or more logical volumes (kind of logical partitions) in volume groups.
Install the latest version of pvscan in Debian, Ubuntu, Alpine, Arch, Kali, CentOS, Fedora and Raspbian from terminal. To install the pvscan just copy the above command for your OS and run into terminal. After you run the command it will grab the latest version of pvscan from the respository and install it in your computer/server.
