mpDris is an implementation of the media player interface MPRIS as a client for MPD. It can be used both controlling the MPD using standard D-Bus interface as well as it emits events on track changes.

Installing mpDris command is simple. just copy one of the above commands for your operating system and paste it into terminal. This command is available for Debian and Raspbian operating systems. Once you run the command it will install the latest version of mpDris 2026 package in your OS.
