MP3val is a small, high-speed tool for MPEG audio files validation and (optionally) fixing problems. It was primarily designed for verification of MPEG 1 Layer III (MP3) files, but supports also other MPEG versions and layers. It can be useful for finding corrupted files (e.g. incompletely downloaded).

Install the latest version of mp3val in Debian, Ubuntu, Kali, Raspbian and macOS from terminal. To install the mp3val just copy the above command for your OS and run into terminal. After you run the command it will grab the latest version of mp3val from the respository and install it in your computer/server.
