recutils

text-based databases called recfiles

GNU Recutils is a set of tools and libraries to access human-editable, text-based databases called recfiles. The data is stored as a sequence of records, each record containing an arbitrary number of named fields. Despite its simplicity, recfiles can be used to store medium-sized databases.

Installation of latest csv2rec command is available for Debian, Ubuntu, Kali, Fedora, Raspbian and macOS. You can copy the command for your OS from above and paste it into your terminal. Once you run the command it will download the 2024 latest package from the repository and install it in your computer/server.
