loudness measurement according to EBU-R128

These tools help controlling loudness of audio material aimed primarily for broadcasting, but they can be useful in other situation. ebumeter and ebur128 allow users to measure Momentary (400 ms), Short term (3s) and Integrated Loudness (from start to stop). They can be used on audio files and signals through JACK. This package contains two programs: * ebumeter - interactive meter working via jackd * ebur128 - the command line app to measure sound files

Installing ebur128 command is simple. just copy one of the above commands for your operating system and paste it into terminal. This command is available for Debian, Ubuntu, Kali, Fedora and Raspbian operating systems. Once you run the command it will install the latest version of ebur128 2024 package in your OS.
