ClamFS is a FUSE-based user-space file system for Linux with on-access anti-virus file scanning through clamd daemon. Clamd (clamav-daemon) is a file scanning service developed by ClamAV project.

Installing clamfs command is simple. just copy one of the above commands for your operating system and paste it into terminal. This command is available for Debian, Ubuntu, Kali and Raspbian operating systems. Once you run the command it will install the latest version of clamfs 2026 package in your OS.
