Chef is a systems integration framework and configuration management library written in Ruby. Chef provides a Ruby library and API that can be used to bring the benefits of configuration management to an entire infrastructure. Chef can be run as a client (chef-client) to a server, or run as a standalone tool (chef-solo). Configuration recipes are written in a pure Ruby DSL. This package contains chef-expander, which acts as a bridge between the Chef API server and the Chef Solr service.

Install the latest version of chef-expander-vnode in Debian, Ubuntu and Raspbian from terminal. To install the chef-expander-vnode just copy the above command for your OS and run into terminal. After you run the command it will grab the latest version of chef-expander-vnode from the respository and install it in your computer/server.
